On August 14, 2009, the City of Fort Wayne dedicated the Robert E. Meyers Park in Harrison Square.

 

The Robert E. Meyers Park, part of the Harrison Square in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, was dedicated on August 14, 2009 by Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry, Richard Samek (President of the Parks Board of Commissioners) and John Meyers, son of the late Robert E. Meyers.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Robert E. Meyers Park in downtown Fort Wayne, part of the Harrison Square development. Following is Fort Wayne City Councilman Glynn Hines who introduces students and teachers from Harding High School who contributed to the endowment fund for the park.
