The Nickel Plate 2-8-4 steam locomotive #765 went through downtown Fort Wayne Indiana on her way to Claypool, Goshen and Elkhart Indiana. She is due to lead employee special excursions for the Norfolk Southern Railroad this weekend between Elkhart Indiana and Bryan Ohio.

The excursions this weekend, May 3rd and 4th are not open to the public. They have been dubbed The Commodore Vanderbilt.

The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's NKP 765 steam locomotive pulled employee appreciation excursions for employees of the Norfolk Southern Railway from Elkhart Indiana to Bryan Ohio on May 3rd and 4th, 2014.

While in Williams County filming the NKP 765, we also recorded several freight trains.

Please note: It was a breezy day and wind screens did not help the microphones. My apologies for the background wind noise.
